Description
Enjoy the Underworld series of native Irish beer, originally released in 2018 in a mixed case of 12. The Underworld range of beers in this mixed case are all fermented exclusively with Morrigan 1. This is a wild native yeast exclusive to Black Donkey harvested from Oweynagat cave, a stones throw from the brewery. This yeast strain was named “Morrigan 1”, after the shapeshifting demon that was said to inhabit the cave. Each Underworld beer is represented by an animal connected to the legendary Cave.
A 12 pack containing 4, 500ml bottles of each of our three Underworld beers:
- Savage “The Crow” (5.6% – Saison, dry, fruity, citrus, spice)
- Allta “The Wolf” (4.6% – Pale Ale, hoppy, malty, crisp)
- Rua “The Red Birds” (6.0% – Native Amber Ale malty, fruity, toffee, toast.)
