It is always our aim to have your order delivered promptly, but we cannot accept liability for delay. Deliveries must be signed for by a person of 18 years or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt. It is the recipient’s/customers responsibility to report goods damaged in transit. Refunds will not be issued in the instance of an order being placed outside the conditions of the delivery parameters stated on the checkout page. We shall not be liable to pay any compensation to you, other than any refund as stated above. No compensation can be offered for loss of wages due to failed or late deliveries. Customers accept responsibility for the safe storage and use of the products upon receipt. Black Donkey Brewing Ltd is not liable for damage caused by customer mishandling. All of our beers are live and unfiltered, and should be stored in a cool dark place, away from sources of heat or UV light, your fridge is ideal.

Goods purchased from the service can only be returned in accordance with our returns and refunds policy. Our returns and refunds policy forms a part of our terms and conditions.

Your right to cancel an order only applies to goods that are returned in the same condition in which you received them. When returning goods you are required to also include all of the products instructions, documents and wrappings. Goods that are damaged, defaced or not in the same condition as that in which you received them, or which are worn simply beyond opening the original packaging will not be refunded. You should therefore take reasonable care of the purchased goods while they are in your possession.

Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where goods are faulty, in which case they will be reimbursed to the customer.

We will process your refund, minus shipping costs, no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive and inspect the returned goods, subject to the returned goods being in the same condition as that in which you received them. We will use the same means of payment to process your refund as you used for the order.

You will not have the right to cancel an order for the supply of any of the following goods:

  • The supply of custom made or personalised goods.
  • The supply of goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of goods, which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, and which were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of goods that are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
